Benchmarking and Green Leadership | The Anhui Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, accompanied by a delegation of entrepreneurs from the Anhui foundry industry, visited and engaged in discussions with the Weir JiChuan Water Pump Foundry Business Department.

On July 2, the Anhui Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, accompanied by numerous enterprises from the province, visited Weir Ji Chuan Water Pump (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd. to focus on a site visit and exchange of experiences regarding the upgrading of environmental protection equipment for the casting division.

As a company specializing in the research, development, and manufacturing of submersible motor pumps, we have always regarded green manufacturing as a crucial cornerstone for high-quality development. In 2025, we invested over one million yuan in systematically upgrading the environmental protection facilities of our foundry department. The results were remarkable, making us a model for environmental management among foundry companies in the region.

The delegation visited the front lines of the casting production process, focusing on examining our newly upgraded smelting dust removal system. This included key facilities such as the casting mobile semi-enclosed dust collection chamber, polishing room, and sand bed, as well as ancillary equipment like regeneration machines, bucket elevators, and sand temperature control devices.

The leader of the visiting delegation stated that Weir Jichuan’s approach to environmental protection improvements for their water pumps is clear and effective, providing valuable reference materials for companies in Anhui Province.

This cross-regional exchange is not only a test of our company’s achievements in environmental protection and transformation, but also a reflection of the positive atmosphere among industry peers where they learn from and support each other in promoting the green transformation of the industry. In the future, Weir Jichuan  Water Pump will continue to consolidate the results of its environmental protection and transformation efforts, continuously explore new pathways for green casting, and provide high-quality submersible motor and pump products to the market, thus contributing to the high-quality development of the industry.
